Susan Bell is a food and lifestyle photographer/director, working in both stills and moving image, and based in the UK. She loves shooting stories where she can combine landscape with people or objects, using light & texture to create a particular mood or tell a story.
Over the last ten years her photographic work ranges from travel & landscapes through to food & portraits, always bringing her painterly approach and love of light. After studying in Paris, Susan embarked on a successful career in television in the UK until she went back to shooting stills and has combined the two ever since.
Creative and energetic, she loves exploring new places and finding stories to photograph. Susan’s recent book and film shoots have included recipe & lifestyle books for Marcus Wareing, Amelia Freer, Dr. Chatterjee and the Herbalist as well as editorial clients including Waitrose Magazine, Rakes Progress, Bloom, Harrods and the Telegraph.
